I have taken three classes with Miss. Kirby and I’m in my fourth. Miss. Kirby and I started off at a rocky point in Family and Consumer Science I was getting in trouble and not listening a lot. I feel like it is partly because I was a freshmen and extremely sassy. But then I took Foods 1 as a sophomore we started getting along and there was not that much issues. I then took Foods 2 as a junior and that is when I truly believe Kirby and I got close; Kirby helped my family and I a lot and she is just a good person in general.
Family and consumer science we learned we cooked a couple things, we sewed a couple things and basically leaned about necessities in life so we do not have to rely on others for the basics of life.
Foods 1 we learned the different utensils went deep into the sanitation unit because we were making food for other teachers and students and just in general you should know how to properly wash your hands. We also did a bunch of cooking but not really hard things just the basics.
Foods 2 we reviewed the utensils and sanitation and we went into the cooking of more complex recipes and getting deeper into cooking and the history of foreign foods and cultures.
